Some photo art I’ve been working on in the last few days, trying out a range of editing software.
Thanks for visiting!

Which software? Please do tell! *envious*
Well actually, the image that I’d used the editing software in question on was far, far too big for WordPress to cope with so doesn’t feature here. I was using Photomatix to mess about with HDR, but rather than layering the same image with different exposures as you normally would, I was layering totally different images to create cubist ghosting-type effects. Very interesting, but by the time I’d shrunk it and flattened it enough to cram it into a Jpeg it wasn’t really worth the candle! As a rule I use Photomatix, Photoshop and Lightroom, although a lot of the stuff on here is just ‘touched-up’ using iPhoto.
What you can see on the images above is a test of the in-camera filters on my new Canon 600D camera body. These include a grainy black and white, a fish-eye, a ‘toytown’ (basically a choice of tints and a vignette effect) and ‘miniature’ which gives the impression of a tilt-shift. So far, I’m quite impressed, but lots more playing to do!
